How to reserve

Please note, that due to the virus our opening hours are very different and it might take a little longer before your materials are ready for pick up. We are fewer people physically working at the library to hinder a possible spreading of the virus and the handling of materials are different as well. Please bear with us  we do our best.

Safety first!

Our first priority is the safety of the citizens and the staff, which means we follow the guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Health. That means we are not opening the physical libraries yet and that your reservations might take a bit longer to be ready. However, all our online services are ready and waiting for you – and the librarians are happy to recommend something especially for you.
Please note, that it is still not possible to return any materials to the library! We are waiting for the Ministry of Health to give information about the safe handling of returned materials. Until that time, we will of course not enforce the fines for late return.
